Tender description

Arboriculture services. The University of Bath has recently commissioned a ground level condition and safety inspection survey of all trees on the University’s Claverton Down Campus. 1 249 individual trees and 330 groups were surveyed. We have completed the emergency works that were identified under the survey. We now wish to tender the remaining tree maintenance programme over a 3 year period, with the option to extend for a further 2 x 1 years. The contractor will be responsible for prioritising the maintenance work identified in the tree survey over a 3 year period, carrying out the works and updating the existing tree survey and database. The contractor will also be responsible for re-surveying the trees at not more than 2 year intervals, in accordance with good arboriculture practice.
