Tender description

Introduction The Council is seeking a suitably qualified single manufacturer and installer of Structural Timber Frame/steelwork systems for a 19 Bed New Build Homeless Persons Temporary Accommodation scheme at Spa Lane, Harrogate, HG2 7JF. 2. Detail of requirement To manufacture and install the structural timber frame with internal studwork, structural steelwork and acoustic sound proofing. Supply and fit roof and roof coverings (reconstructed slate pitched roof as spec H61), and detailing to ridge, eaves, valley and abutment. Supply and fit grey pvc fascia & soffits. Supply only of vapour barrier. Do not include insulating of wall and roof spaces. Do not include installation of aluminium cladded roof to rear Do not include roof light Price to include delivery/carriage charges and any hire charges. Harrogate Borough Council will provide the scaffolding and welfare facilities. All works to comply with Building Control, LABC Specification and Contract Works Condition 1. Fire Prevention on Constructions Sites Joint Code of Practice. It is envisaged that the contract will commence 30th September 2019.
