Tender description

MAG Airport Ltd are delivering a group future security regulations programme of works, including full OJEU tender for cabin baggage screening equipment. In line with DFT regulatory updates, there are several changes to account for between 2020 and 2023 requiring modification of passenger and colleague security areas group wide. MAG intends to publish call for competition via OJEU later in 2019. This PIN seeks to highlight the inclusion of a key trial stage of approximately 6 to 8 months within procurement programme. Shortlisted bidders from ITN stage are required to install equipment for an extensive period of operation, training and testing. Anticipated trial start date is Q1 of 2020 all will be facilitated within a live operational environment at Stansted Airport.
