REQUEST FOR QUOTE FOR THE PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO DEVELOP A FRAMEWORK FOR ASSESSING COMMUNITY ASSETS AND NEEDS

Tender description

1.1 Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council ("the council") is seeking to commission a professional consultancy to a) Outcome A: devise an approach and specific mechanism that identifies and brings together the components, methodology, and systems needed to establish a framework for ongoing assessment of community assets and needs. This needs to be completed by 30 September 2019 and will be used to generate and update a series of place-based assessments. b) Outcome B: provide an overview of the current scale shape and scope of the voluntary and community sector across the borough of Basingstoke and Deane. This needs to be completed by 1 July 2019 and will provide independent and reliable data to inform the council and its partners of the nature and characteristics of the sector.
