Tender description
The City of London Police (the Police) are carrying out Pre-procurement market engagement (‘PPME’) in relation to a security management system as part of the secure city programme. This market engagement has been designed to seek input from the market to help inform the Police on options and further decision making. To access the soft marking testing document and further information concerning this requirement, suppliers should log onto www.capitalesourcing.com For the avoidance of doubt, this phase of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Police are not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the PPME shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the PPME shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. This a Pre-procurement market engagement ('PPME') exercise in relation to an upcoming requirement the City of London Police (the Police) has in relation to a security management system as part of the secure city programme. The secure city programme is a joint initiative between the City of London Corporation and City Police, intended to deliver significant improvements to the safety of square mile residents, workers and visitors. Drawing on the success of historical approaches to security and the latest examples of best practice from capital cities across the globe, the programme will future-proof security arrangements to meet the challenges of 2025 and beyond. This market engagement has been designed to seek input from the market to help inform the Police on options and further decision making.
