Open Spaces Suite of Apprenticeship Standards

The City invites Quotations for the provision of Apprenticeship Training for the specified suite of apprenticeship training standards. The City of London is looking for a Training Provider to deliver apprenticeship training as required by apprentice employees of the City of London Corporation. In particular it refers to apprenticeship delivery requirements against the following Standards: Horticulture and landscape operative https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/horticulture-and-landscape-operative/ Landscape/ Horticulture Supervisor https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/landscapehorticulture-supervisor/ Sports Turf Operative https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/sports-turf-operative/ Arborist https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/arborist/ This would be on a subcontracting basis. A subcontractor as defined by the by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) is an organisation that is engaged in a contractual and legally binding arrangement with one or more lead providers, to deliver education and training provision that the ESFA funds. The City of London has a current requirement for Three Horticulture and landscape operative Standards and Three Landscape/ Horticulture Supervisor Standards with the expectation, but not the guarantee, that further apprenticeships to the Standards outlined will be required up to a maximum contract value of £100k. The expected duration for the Landscape/ Horticulture Supervisor is 36 months including the time required for End-point Assessment. Any apprentice starts on this contract must therefore start with the training provider no later than inception of the contract. The contract is to have a duration of 3 years, subject to the right of the City (at its sole discretion).
