Tender description

The CSO is tendering for the provision of 2 fully unified production SANs for our sites in Cork and Swords. Tenderers should also tender for separate backup devices for both sites. The CSO’s primary objectives for this tender are to: — replace existing Dell EMC VNX production arrays in Cork and Swords, — replace existing Dell EMC VNX backup arrays in Cork and Swords, — provide unified NAS (CIFS/NFS) and Block storage, — provide availability, performance, and cross-site replication (including switchover/failover) for block and file systems, — cater for expansion of CSO’s storage requirements. Replacement solution for 2 x DellEMC VNX5400 production SANs (One each in Cork and Swords sites) and 2 x DellEMC VNX 5100 Backup targets (1 each in Cork and Swords sites).
