Tender description

Dudley MBC has approved the delivery of a service to provide the design, installation, removal and recycling,together with the maintenance, servicing and repairs of domestic lifts and associated builders work within Council owned, privately owned, privately rented and housing association owned properties located throughout the Borough. Domestic lifts are defined as being those that are installed within a domestic residence and shall include, but not limited to straight track stair lifts, curved track stair lifts, seated vertical through floors lifts, wheelchair vertical through floor lifts, external step lifts and external platform lifts. This lot shall constitute tender for the design, installation, removal and recycling of straight and curved track stair lifts located within Council owned, privately owned, privately and housing association rented homes within the borough of Dudley (2019 – 2024). This lot value shall be 3 750 000 GBP, however the current annual spend is anticipated be in the region of 500 000 GBP per year (although there are no guarantees to the volume of work to be issued). The tender is for the installation, removal and recycling of internal and external home lifts located within Council owned, privately owned, privately and housing association rented homes within the borough of Dudley (2019 –2024). The value of this lot shall be 2 250 000 GBP, however the anticipated annual spend will be in the region of 300 000 GBP per year (although there are no guarantees to the volume of work to be issued). This tender is for the servicing, call outs and repairs to domestic lifts located within Council owned, privately owned, privately and housing association rented homes within the borough of Dudley (2019 – 2024). The value of this lot shall be 1 500 000 GBP, however the anticipated annual spend will be in the region of 200 000 GBP per year (although there are no guarantees to the volume of work to be issued).
