Tender description
The digital enterprise programme aims to help small to medium sized businesses to grow with the help of digital technology. The vision and aspiration is to support small firms to achieve digital transformation as they scale up and grow. The programme will target businesses that are looking to scale up with the help of the most appropriate digital solutions for their needs and to achieve higher levels of productivity, competitiveness and innovation through the better use of digital technology. This tender is divided into 2 lots. The exchange will have a target of assisting at least 450 SMEs (small to medium sized enterprises), with at least 12 hours of support, in the form of workshops, masterclasses, mentoring and other assistance, where appropriate. 350 of the businesses assisted will be uniquely assisted by the DKE i.e. not receiving any other form of assistance from the wider programme. In addition, businesses will need to be assessed for eligibility for ERDF support and the type/level of support/assistance required to meet their needs. The overall service provision will include a broad range of digital topics relevant for business growth and development, delivered through a range of channels and methods. The Digital Enterprise Top 100 will directly benefit the overall Digital Enterprise 2.0 programme, promoting the benefits of digital transformation to small business owners and managers and encouraging them to participate in the wider programme. The campaign is expected to run for up to 4 months over 3 consecutive years and will include: 1) The development and delivery of the Top 100 campaign — including management and development of a campaign website; 2) Creation of a Top 100 special report; and 3) A celebration event.
