South Cambridgeshire District Council - Hard Landscaping Northstowe Phase 1 Allotments

Tender description

The Council seeks a contractor to perform the following: • Create an allotment vehicular track - Remove topsoil to firm base - Geotextile membrane - Surface course 125-185mm Limestone ‘20mm to dust’ - Laid to 1: 50 central camber with timber edging (see Appendix 1) • Install car park: - Crushed limestone hardstanding (Limestone 20mm to dust) (same treatment as track) • Create a 5m wide circular route, turf (for occasional use) • Create 2.5m wide walking routes (for occasional use by mowers and machinery) • Create informal paths between allotments, turf or bark chippings • Access to the site is from the High Street, Longstanton. The map below shows the site location within the wider Northstowe development. To the west of the site runs a bridleway (shaded blue on the plan given in Appendix 1). • All on-site work must be completed within the hours 8am - 6pm. Monday - Friday and 8am - 1pm Saturday and at no time on Sundays, Bank or Public Holidays, unless agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. Keywords: Landscaping
