Tender description

Norfolk County Council (NCC) currently has a 5-year Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) support service contract including payroll. This contract will expire on 23.11.2019. NCC required a 2-year contract to provide EBS support from 24.11.2019 to 23.11.2021, with an option to extend by up to 1 further year. It is planned that EBS will be decommissioned by December 2021. The service comprises: database administration; system administration; EIS report support and development; APEX support and development; maintenance; support; problem and incident management and resolution including developing workarounds; patch and update testing; release management including advising on and applying patches and updates; remote monitoring, diagnosis and resolution; updating the system to deal with legal and regulatory changes, including changes in public sector pension schemes; assistance with software upgrades and changes; and undertaking process improvement projects, including configuration and customisation of EBS and advising on implementation of best practice. The Council reserves the right under the contract to purchase additional hours of support and/or consultancy as required.
