Production and Event Management of Christmas Light Festival 2019

Tender description

This will be an Oxford based, fixed term role to undertake the technical, production and Health and Safety elements of the Christmas Light Festival and we welcome quotations from freelance individuals or event management companies who can demonstrate the right expertise along with some local knowledge and experience. The contract holder will be expected to take a strategic approach to the production process: overseeing procurement, site technical planning, safety protocol and artist advancing. The role requires a can-do attitude and the ability to problem-solve complex production processes in order to realise the ambition of the festival. You will be required to lead / attend regular site visits in Oxford with stakeholders and suppliers on the run up to the festival as well as collaborate with the Festival Programmer, Creative Producer and delivery team to ensure all elements of the production process are delivered according to best practice.
