Tender description

The tender is for the provision of a fully comprehensive lift maintenance and reactive call out and repair service at Whipps Cross University Hospital, Mile End Hospital and Newham University Hospital. The Contract will run for an initial period of 1 year and then for a further 2 years subject to the contractor providing the required high level of maintenance and call out coverage during the first year period to the full satisfaction of Barts Health NHS Trust. The tender is for the provision of a fully comprehensive lift maintenance and reactive call out and repair service at Whipps Cross University Hospital, Mile End Hospital and Newham University Hospitals. The contractor should provide evidence with their tender of their ability to deliver high quality lift maintenance to Barts Health NHS Trust and any value added services they provide i.e. data pens / PDAs, smart phones, web based systems with real time information. The contractor should provide evidence with their tender of their technical ability to maintain Barts Health NHS Trust’s lift equipment, including stock of spare parts, obtaining replacement parts and ability to offer alternative solutions. The contractor shall provide information of how the contract will be managed including the location of the office, management team, supervisory team, technical support and number of engineers to be appointed to the contract including training of personnel.
