Tender description

Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust are looking to establish a framework of contractors for major works contracts within the UK. The framework will cover projects with a minimum value of 5 000 000 GBP including, but is not limited to, new builds, extensions, refurbishments, housing builds, multi-complex builds, works covering the railway industry, etc. The procurement will be a single stage process following the Public Contract Regulations 2015 open procedure. The framework agreement will be established for a period of 4 years from April 2020, with the option to extend for a further 2 periods of up to 1 year each at the discretion of the contracting authority and subject to satisfactory performance. The framework will be split in to 3 separate lots, which will operate with a maximum of 9 contractors per lot. This framework agreement is being advertised and tendered, so it can be utilised by all Public-sector bodies, including Charities in the UK. This lot is for projects between 5 000 000 GBP and 9 999 999 GBP. Call-off contracts for any Works shall use the NEC4 engineering and construction contract (ECC), options A, C or E. Please note that the field II.2.6) lists an estimated value for each lot. At present the total combined lot value provided is half of the total estimated value of the framework. Currently it is not possible to provide a better estimation of the individual lot value, as such, during the course of the framework the value of each lot may vary. However, the total framework value will not exceed 10 000 000 000 GBP.
