Provision of an online school visit planning software system

Tender description

Gloucestershire County Council is looking to purchase an off-site visits planning and approval solution to ensure schools that buy back its health and safety service are planning off-site visits appropriately and have suitable and sufficient procedures for managing risks. The software solution should allow visit leaders to create visits, provide details (such as destination, departure and return dates, provider details, travel, etc.), upload risk assessments and other relevant information and submit them to an appropriate person for approval. The solution must also allow schools to submit certain visits to the LA for review. This includes overnight visits, visits abroad or any that involve adventurous activities.
