The Council has a legislative requirement to provide short term temporary accommodation to households which require this service under emergency circumstances. This is a reactive service which is unpredictable in nature. Accommodation may be required for one or more nights, with most stays being less than 7 nights. The contract on offer is participation in a multi supplier framework agreement to deliver short term emergency temporary accommodation.
