A partner or partners to deploy wireless network infrastructure across Harrogate and other selected parts of North Yorkshire – and utilise this new connectivity to deliver innovative outcomes linked to local objectives around place management, the economy and public services. The role of the managed service provider is as follows: — install and operate an outdoor public access Wi-Fi across defined areas of the region, — the design, installation, management and maintenance of one or more district-wide LPWANs (includinga LoRaWAN) to support IoT deployment and associated solutions, — the collation, management and presentation of data from the above platforms (including pedestrian monitoring), — the ability to deliver a portfolio of ‘smart city ‘solutions or to work with other commercial solutions providers in an integration role.
