ICT Business Support Programme

Tender description

Hull City Council, on behalf of the HBGH, wishes to commission the delivery of a programme of specialist technical advice to businesses in the form of an ICT Business Support Programme (IBSP) targeted at Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs). The Service Provider shall be expected to deliver a programme of high quality ICT and Digital development support to businesses across the whole of the Humber Geography, to support their growth ambitions. In-depth One-to-one diagnostics should be used to determine the needs of the client and to develop an action plan of support required to achieve the business's growth objectives including use of a 'Design Sprint' methodology, supporting businesses to explore growth opportunities and resolve barriers to growth through use of ICT and digital technologies. The programme shall target businesses that employ 10 or more staff (Full Time Equivalent (FTE)) and have the capacity to grow, create jobs and increase productivity. It is anticipated that the programme shall be delivered from September 2019 with a number of businesses benefiting from the programme until its close in February 2021. There is a requirement for this activity to engage and support a minimum of 60 businesses.
