Tender description

Lampton FM 360 intends to engage with a single main merchant for the provision of a range of repairs, construction, installation and maintenance materials through a service as follows: — Lampton FM 360 are currently operating out of the Ashmead Road Depot, this is subject to potential change, — Lampton FM 360 has approximately 175 operatives with a fleet of around 80 vehicles, 40 of which currently hold imprest van stock. The successful supplier will support responsive repairs and maintenance including electrical services, voids works, planned kitchen and bathroom programme, adaptations and heating installations. Gas repairs and CP12 certifications are not carried out by Lampton FM360. A key priority for Lampton FM 360 and the London Borough of Hounslow is to optimise operative productive time, improve first time fix rates and reduce costs and call backs. LFM360 will be publishing a presentation as part of their procurement documentation that includes a standard selection questionnaire (SSQ) and a draft contract. No actual invitation to tender will be published. Those suppliers interested in responding must do so by submitting a business plan against the authority’s outcome requirements. The criterion for submitting a business plan are outlined in the presentation and will indicate which elements of the description define the minimum requirements to be met by all tenders, specify the contract award criteria and information to participant. The route to market will be the competitive procedure with negotiation (PCR15 Reg 29). There is no limitation on the format of business plans to be submitted. The evaluation of SSQ’s will be undertaken first (stage 1). Those passing the SSQ will be invited to tender (Stage 2). The winning bidder must pass the SSQ assessment fully to be awarded a contract.
