Market engagement for a Support Service for Asian Women with Mental Health Issues within the London Borough of Redbridge. The Aims and Objectives of the Service are to: • To provide group activities to Asian women with mental health issues that primarily promote their health, well-being, independence and social inclusion; • To organise day trips and outings for Asian women to promote independence, well being and social inclusion; • To develop and maintain links with other agencies/organisations in the statutory, voluntary, and community sector; • To move towards making service users more independent and encouraging them to develop their own social networks; • To promote the service to the wider Asian community, so new women join the group activities; • To engage relevant guest speakers to provide information a variety of topics relevant to Asian women; Further information regarding the service delivery and requirements can be obtained via ProContract.
