Tender description

South Gloucestershire Council is looking for a supplier for the servicing and maintenance of electrical, gas and refrigeration equipment within the catering establishments of South Gloucestershire Council offices and schools with a mix of both planned maintenance as well as reactive works involved. The works covered by this contract comprise of the following: (i) reactive works* — day to day maintenance and emergency repair of gas, electrical and refrigeration appliances, with the requirement for an out of hours emergency service; (ii) planned preventative maintenance (including servicing, testing and inspections) of gas, electrical and refrigeration appliances. The contract will be awarded to a single supplier for a 3 year period with the option to extend for 2 further 12 month periods, a total of a 5 year contract. Suppliers and engineers are expected to registered under the following organisations: — Gas Safe, — NICEIC, — FGas, — COMCAT 5, — ROSPA (or equivalent). The Council use Supplying the South West as their e-tendering system. Suppliers will need to register on this system in order to view and apply for this opportunity.
