PI Application Support

EirGrid HRCS Corporate Applications are taking responsibility for the Support & Maintenance of the OSIsoft PI system currently being managed by OPI System Performance. With this in mind Corporate Applications need to procure a support partner to supply a full suite of IS services relating to the PI System including; • Support & Maintenance of the PI System • Provide consultancy on the PI System and its associated interfaces, best value for money licensing arrangements, telecoms and best practice methods in regard to data acquisition, system architecture and interconnection with existing systems • Develop and maintain custom AFSDK solutions where required The current system is made up of several different PI applications sitting on 2 Windows 2012 and 5 Windows 2008 Servers. The successful Tender will need to: • Implement health check and roadmap recommendations • Move existing Windows 2008 Live servers x 6 to Windows version agreed in roadmap • Move existing DR site from Windows 2008 to Windows version agreed in roadmap located in Dublin to Belfast The successful candidate should also have experience integrating the OSIsoft PI system with multiple different internal and external systems including but not limited to SCADA systems, multiple database types, cloud platforms etc. The candidate must be an approved OSIsoft partner with experience of implementing PI solutions in a transmission and distribution or electrical utility environment. Experience in creating and/or maintaining custom AFSDK code will also be required. This tender also requires the tender to provide pricing for future licences needed.
