North East Lincolnshire Council requires a provider to deliver an online counselling support service for young people within the borough aged 11-25 years that have emotional or mental health concerns. The service will aim to help young people manage their emotional well-being concerns at the earliest opportunity before these problems escalate, resulting in the possible need for more specialist interventions and to deliver measurable improvements in the emotional and mental health of young people and thus improve their outcomes. North East Lincolnshire Council requires a child and young person-friendly, safe and easy to use website that is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The service must be accessible and target the needs of children and young people who are less likely to access the service such as young males, children with learning disabilities and those who may be visually impaired. Bookable online 1:1 counselling sessions for young people with qualified psychotherapists and counsellors at times which are convenient for the young person must be offered; as well as group chat functions and themed message forums.
