Supply and Installation of Play Equipment at Stumps Cross (Boroughbridge) and Forest Springs (Starbeck, Harrogate)

Tender description

1.1. Harrogate Borough Council is inviting quotations from installation contractors for the replacement of play equipment at two existing play areas 1.2. The contract is divided into two lots which may be awarded together or independently. • Lot 1: Stumpscross Play Area, Wetherby Road, Boroughbridge YO51 9HS Wetherby Road just south of Boroughbridge High School. • Lot 2: Forest Springs Play Area, First Avenue, Starbeck HG2 7PA At the end of First Avenue follow the path on the left. 1.3. Contractors are invited to submit a design with firm prices for the removal of old play equipment and installation of new play equipment and overlay of needle punch carpet surfacing. 1.4. All site works must be complete by 30 April 2019. This is subject to agreement and arrangement with the council. 1.5. The total budget to deliver both play areas is £80,000 exc VAT. £40,000 per site. 1.6. Harrogate Borough Council is looking to select equipment which meets the play and developmental needs of as wide a range of children as possible including children living with disabilities.
