IT Dept have been using them since Oracle began for Network sims on the vehicles, I believe to do with the Defibs. We are running the contract down and switching them to the main EE contract that will be far cheaper when it starts shortly. Up till now, Warren Tyvnen has been receiving monthly usage invoices and raising retrospective requisitions each time but with us insisting invoices do not go to staff, he agreed to raise one till the contract runs out so the invoices could go to Creditors instead. That’s probably why you’ve no knowledge of it! I have asked him for details of the contract (25/7/23)but he is on leave and it was his predecessor who arranged it many years ago.(see email in attachments) NEAS have been using the Wireless Logic APN since the procurement of the previous ePCR system supplied by SafeTriage (2016/2017). This APN was part of the network and overall infrastructure sold by SafeTriage. NEAS also utilise the APN for the sim provision within the Netgear routers that are attached to our Zoll defibrillators. NEAS are in the process of replacing all APN sims with public sim (NEAS main EE contract) and moving to an alternative solution for securing the connectivity between our iPads and all endpoints. The current PO that covers this financial years monthly bills should be the last PO associated with the Wireless Logic APN. Unfortunately, from a contract perspective I can’t find anything. I have a feeling that this will be in with the overall SafeTriage contract that would probably sit with Steve Pratts remit but I could be wrong. Between you and Steve Pratt can you resolve this please(9/11/23) and obtain a contract/agreement, possible from the supplier – if not compile a waiver for full approval Keywords: wireless logic, APN sim costs
