Tender description

To discuss with potential suppliers, the Policy, Commercial and Financial aspects of the requirement. We are seeking to: — test the principles of the new service with potential providers — to help existing self-employed customers to increase their earnings from their business, and provide a viable route for eligible customers interested in setting up their own business, — gain an understanding of where provision can add value over and above the DWP work coach service, — capture lessons learned from current support offers for the self-employed/small businesses, and — provide insight into what works to support small business owners to increase their earnings and scale-up to inform the Department’s future strategic engagement with the self-employed and wider government. DWP will be hosting pre-market engagement events to discuss with potential suppliers the policy, commercial and financial aspects of the requirement prior to finalising the invitation to tender and subsequent documentation. The events will consist of formal input from officials with opportunity for Q&A as well as informal networking between delegates. The events will be held at Quarry House Leeds on 6th or 13th September. Interested suppliers should register their interest via the ITT on the BRAVO e-procurement site.
