Sewer flow modelling expertise and technical support

Tender description

The objective of this tender process is to undertake a discrete first piece of work which must be completed by 31 October 2019. The work will provide sewer flow modelling expertise to review previously undertaken sewer modelling work to draw conclusions as to whether the modelling work met the internal standards set out by the wastewater company that commissioned the original modelling work and whether this met industry standards at the time. The work will involve modelling the available capacity of a sewer network and the impacts on this network of connecting additional premises. This will include providing views on the appropriate modelling factors to use in this modelling work and the reasons for doing so. The output from the work will be a report which sets out the review process, the conclusions of the review and a commentary to explain the reasoning behind the conclusions.
