Lordswood Girls’ School is a school that does not stand still. They are constantly striving to improve on their best, be it with regard to school facilities and the educational opportunities that they offer students, or in the range of innovative projects in which the school is involved and which enable Lordswood Girls’ School to remain at the cutting edge of education. Lordswood Girls’ School was one of the first schools in Birmingham to convert to an academy in April 2011 at a time when this status was only offered to outstanding schools. They are very proud of their position as one of the top schools, both in the city and nationally. The school has been ranked consistently within the top 10 % of all schools nationally, based on examination performance at key stage 4 and enjoys an excellent reputation for its academic, sporting, and artistic achievements.
