Tender description

This Invitation to Tender (‘ITT’) is for the design, supply (hire) and installation of a Special Educational Needs (SEN) double mobile classroom, including enabling and post-removal works at Heltwate School, Heltwate, Bretton Peterborough PE3 8RL, as described in the service specification and terms and conditions (the ‘contract’) included within the tender box. Peterborough City Council (PCC) invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations who can demonstrate knowledge and skills in the design, supply (hire) and installation of a Special Educational Needs (SEN) double mobile classroom, including enabling and post-removal works at Heltwate School, Heltwate, Bretton, Peterborough. The modular building is required to provide: teaching spaces for special needs pupils with a minimum of 1 (one) staff member and 1 teaching assistant, specialised toilet accommodation for the pupils and staff, calm room off each classroom and sufficient storage space for a minimum rental period of 2 years plus a potential further 12 months. The enabling works is expected to start 27.9.2019 to 26.10.2021 with the option to extend until 26.10.2022.
