Public Health England intends to run a tender for the Provision of a Global Logistics Provider. PHE would like to invite interested suppliers to a Supplier day on Thursday 1st August 2019 at PHE Wellington House,133-155 Waterloo Road, London SE1 8UG. The UK-PHRST require support in the form of transport and logistics from a global partner on a minimal and ad-hoc basis for short periods of time to aid in the set-up of a 'Microbiology Flight Case Laboratory' (MFCL). Potential Providers should not be looking to increase staffing to provide services long-term. Providers will not be required to procure additional resources to provide services to PHE and therefore services would be made available on a 'best efforts' basis.Commissioned by HM Government, Public Health England (PHE) has established a UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST) in partnership with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
