Tender description

North Yorkshire County Council — Moorside Junior and Infant Schools amalgamation – extension, refurbishment, external works and car park extension. The scheme is to amalgamate the Moorside Junior and Infant Schools into the current under one building (the current junior school) with the intention of using the existing infant school building as a special needs centre. The works involve demolition of existing corridor’s, new extension to form new corridor’s, staff room, nurture room and WC’s, new glazed canopy to existing building, internal refurbishment and re-modelling works to classrooms, toilets and cloakrooms, external works including new paving, retaining wall and stairs, fencing and extension to existing entrance road and car park’s for both schools. The contract is awarded following a tender process from the Procurement Hub Property Works DPS 2016/S 170-305523.
