Tender description

NHS LPP is seeking to establish a DPS for the provision of non-emergency transport and courier services. The DPS shall be open to LPP member bodies (whether full, associate or other members) as listed at: http://www.lpp.nhs.uk/about-lpp/our-members/ and any new LPP members for the duration of the DPS; plus all other NHS and Public Sector bodies located in the UK, subject to approval of LPP, including but not limited to: Partnership in Procurement collaborative hub members (NHS East of England, NHS Commercial Solutions, NHS North of England Procurement Hub). Acute and Foundation Trusts: — CCGs, — ambulance, care, hospital, mental health and community health trusts, — special health authorities, — CSUs, — GP practices, — all NHS bodies, associated NHS bodies, — local authorities, — central government departments, — police, — HM prison services, — fire and rescue, — education, — any successor organisations of the above. NHS LPP is seeking to establish DPS for the provision of non-emergency transport and courier services, for the NHS and Wider Public Sector. The DPS will be divided into categories and UK regions. The types of service available under the DPS includes, but is not limited to, the following mobility types and categories: Mobility types: — walker, — single handed wheelchair, — double handed wheelchair, — modified vehicle, — modified vehicle + wheelchair, — stretcher, — high dependency, — bariatric, — secure, Proposed categories: — fully managed service, — booking and eligibility assessment call centre, — regular patient transport, — supported patient transport, — high dependency transport, — renal patient transport, — oncology patient transport, — mental health transport (standard/secure), — bariatric transport, — GP urgent care, — taxi services — courier services — secure courier, — specialist courier, — secure transport, — social care, — home to school, — driver training.
