Heathrow is initiating a pre-procurement market engagement campaign to share our vision, values and drivers for the expansion of Heathrow airport; to discover new suppliers and re-engage with existing suppliers; to understand the status of the market; and to identify best practice and innovative ways to deliver the project. As part of the market engagement we are also holding a supplier. This will be an opportunity for us to introduce the Heathrow Expansion Project to the potential supplier base and share our vision, values and drivers. We want to engage with large, medium and small suppliers from a wide number of industries; from demolitions and earthworks contractors to landscaping and traffic management companies. We have set ambitious objectives for the delivery of the project with our stakeholders and community and our suppliers will be integral in helping us to deliver on these. We are now embarking on a comprehensive pre-procurement market engagement campaign that will enable the potential supplier base to provide input as to how best we can leverage potential from that supplier base. We want to engage with large, medium and small suppliers from a wide number of industries; from demolitions and earthworks contractors to landscaping and traffic management companies. The purpose of this market engagement is to develop a better understanding of the potential supplier base in different goods, services and works categories; and to use that understanding to assist us in the refinement of our packaging and procurement strategies. Heathrow Airport Ltd (‘Heathrow’) is not a ‘Contracting Authority’ or a ‘utility’ for the purposes of either The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (‘PCR’) or The Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 (‘UCR’). It is using this OJEU PIN purely as a means to seek the widest available engagement with potential suppliers. Any subsequent procurement process will not be required to be carried out in accordance with the PCR or UCR.
