Tender description

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders offering deep drilling and boring services on behalf of the advanced manufacturing research centre, castings group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of requirement: The University intends on creating a framework contract for services, Lot 1: Axles: Large Diameter Deep Hole Boring; Lot 2: Sliding Tube: Small Diameter Deep Hole Boring. The University shall award directly with one supplier for each lot. Lot 1: Axles required drilling and boring, followed by delivery to a heat treatment facility. Approximate size, 2200 mm x 520 mm x 450 mm.
