Tender description

The Buying Authorities have a requirement for the provision of multilingual translation, transcription and interpreting services throughout the United Kingdom and overseas. It is the intention to appoint five (5) suitably qualified and experienced contractors to each of the two (2) lots within this framework to work closely with the individual buying authorities to provide a reliable, ethical, honest and transparent service. Lot 1 includes the provision of written translation and transcription services from the English language into the language(s) requested by the Buying Authority and from those languages into English or other languages. Contractor(s) shall provide an end to end service to the Buying Authority through its own linguists and/or linguists via subcontractors if required. Lot 2 includes the provision of interpreting services from the English language in to the language(s) requested by the Buying Authority and from those languages into English or other languages. The languages listed in Appendix 1 are those expected to be required but this list is by no means exhaustive. Contractor(s) shall provide an end to end service to the Buying Authority through its own linguists and/or linguists via subcontractors if required.
