Tender description

To supply a PPM reactive service support contract for the fire alarm and detection systems for buildings. This will be carried out in a manner that falls within the University’s terms conditions, and will be supported by the Estates SLA that both parties will sign up to. The 3 key areas are: 1) Main Campus (CU); 2) Student accommodation buildings; 3) Technology Park (CUE). For the purposes of this contract the fire systems comprises of: — fire detection and alarm system in academic buildings, — fire detection and alarm system in commercial buildings, — fire detection and alarm systems in domestic buildings 4 No. PA/VA systems 5 No Disabled refuge alarms DRAX system and headend with 2 No computers interfacing with all main campus fire alarm systems. Aspirating systems 5 sets of Smoke curtains all other systems connected to the fire system (functional operation only (e.g. smoke extract systems, door release, door hold opens, gas solenoids, lifts).
