Tender description

Reactive maintenance service and void works to all Glasgow West HA stock. Glasgow West Housing Association (GWHA) is a community controlled, charitable housing services provider punching above its weight in both service and governance standards. Originating from Hillhead HA in 1978 and maturing through the successful fusion of 7 housing stock transfers, GWHA is governed by a voluntary management committee with responsibility for strategic direction, leadership and governance of the organisation. GWHA operates in a mature set of inner city neighbourhoods, made up primarily of high density pre-1919 tenement stock. Services are provided from our main offices at 5 Royal Crescent, Glasgow as well as 3 community concierge stations at Blythswood Court, St. Vincent Terrace and Crown Road North. We are considering a range of options to create a Lotted Measure Term Contract Agreement (LMTCA) for Reactive Repairs and OOH services across our Domestic housing stock, of 1487 units. We are considering separation of Domestic and common repairs into separate contracts reflecting the nature of our Property Factoring subsidiary Glasgow West Enterprises, which provides services to common areas for approximately 560 additional privately owned properties. This will suit suppliers who have a multi-skilled workforce; however, we would welcome consortium interest from a group of bidders; and specialists that undertake various works in isolation. Our preference at this stage for domestic response repair is a price per property. Glasgow West Housing Association is undertaking some market analysis with this PIN for the potential procurement for the LMTCA.
