Tender description
This tender exercise is to establish a contract for the supply of instrument decontamination and cleaning wipes, which encompasses instrument decontamination wipes used in the decontamination of non-lumened medical devices and hard surface disinfectant wipes for the decontamination and disinfection of hard surfaces and devices in the clinical area. The successful tenderer will be expected to provide free of charge supporting services such as training, education, clinical support, reporting and cost reduction initiatives. The tender will consist of 2 individual lots: Lot 1: Instrument Decontamination Wipes; Lot 2: Hard Surface Disinfection Wipes. Lot 1: Instrument Decontamination Wipes. Under this lot, the tenderer is required to provide Instrument decontamination wipes for non-invasive non-lumened medical devices Products in this lot must be suitable for the decontamination of the following devices, but not limited to: — Transoesophageal echocardio probes (TOE/TEE), — manometry catheters, — ultrasound probes, — ophthalmology devices, — endoscopes. The tenderer must provide a track and trace system for the decontamination of the non-lumened medical devices. Terms and conditions/Activity Based Income (ABI). The terms an conditions of this Framework Agreement and any resulting call-off contract is appended to the ITT. These terms include provisions requiring the payment by the supplier of an ABI management charge in consideration of the award of this Framework Agreement, the management and administration by HTE of the overall contract structure and associated documentation, as well as the requirement to submit regular management information to HTE. Submission of expressions of interest and procurement information. This exercise will be conducted on the HTE Bravo portal. Candidates wishing to be considered must register expressions of interest as follows: — register on the HTE portal at https://healthtrusteurope.bravosolution.co.uk — login to the portal with username/password, — click the PQQs/ITTs open to all suppliers link. These are the PQQs/ITTs open to any registered supplier, — click on the relevant PQQ/ITT to access the content, — click the express interest button at the top of the page. This will move the PQQ/ITT into your My PQQs/My ITTs page. You can access any attachments by clicking buyer attachments in the PQQ/ITT Details box. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the PQQ/ITT. Submit your reply using the Submit Response button at the top of the page. Candidates must complete the qualification and technical envelopes of the PQQ in Bravo in full. The interested Tenderers are required to provide a range of hard surface disinfectant and detergent wipes hard surface cleaning and non-medical instrument cleaning. This should include antimicrobial wipes to kill micro-organisms. The composition of the wipes should be sufficient to sanitise surfaces contaminated by bacteria, yeasts and viruses and include sporicidal effect to kill spores. The successful tenderer should provide dispensers, brackets and fixings for the hard surface disinfectant and detergent wipes to the participating Authority.
