DIT Security Export Strategy

Tender description

The Department for International Trade is seeking to procure a revised Security Export Strategy which will include; 1. An overview of the size of the market internationally (in value terms), and the UK's contribution to these numbers. 2. A summary of the UK security sector's strengths arranged by capability/sub-sector, in particular identifying where these strengths differ from, or are in addition to, those identified in the 2014 strategy. 3. An analysis of current trends in the sector. 4. Highlights of the current high-value/high-volume exporting opportunities in the sector, organised by country. 5. Identification of the challenges that UK companies face in the market, particularly in the B2B space 6. An outline of approaches/methodologies that could be implemented to counter these challenges. 7. A summary of the support which is available to potential exporters, and the UK Government's offer to overseas customers.
