Tender description

Dumfries and Galloway Council currently has a licence to operate a pension system provided by Aquila Heywood Ltd. The council to now e require additional support for a period of 12 months to allow the council adequate time to formally review its requirements for a pension system and go to market. Dumfries and Galloway Council holds a licence to access and use Altair pension administration system with Aquila HeywoodD Ltd. Aquila Heywood Ltd owns and has exclusive rights in respect of all intellectual property rights in the councils current pension system and Heywood Ltd is, therefore, the only provider able to meet the council need for continued support and maintenance of the pension system . Dumfries and Galloway Council are however currently reviewing the system and intend within the next 12 month to go to market for a solution to its longer term requirements.
