County Durham Growth Fund Due Diligence Services

Tender description

This contract is for Due Diligence Services for the County Durham Growth Fund (CDGF). The County Durham Growth Fund is a new grant programme for SMEs in County Durham for capital investment projects to stimulate and enable sustainable business growth, and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund Programme. This external due diligence service is being procured for Business Durham, the economic development organisation for Durham County Council, who will be delivering the County Durham Growth Fund in partnership with BE Group. The successful contractor will provide due diligence support to Business Durham and BE Group on grant applications submitted to BE Group, by qualifying SMES and approved in principle by the investment panel, including (but not limited to) preparation of reports with recommendations covering eligibility of expenditure, viability, deliverability, management capability and State Aid compliance. The project will be delivered on behalf of Durham County Council.
