WFD Benthos Analysis

Tender description

At present a requirement exists for the analysis of in-faunal sediment samples collected from a range of seabed locations around Ireland. It is intended that the successful company will extract the taxa from the sediment residue and identify them to species level and assign a WoRMS AphiaID to each. The Marine Institute wishes to invite Applicants to submit a tender, to conduct faunal analysis and sediment analysis (Loss on Ignition-LOI, Particle Size Analysis –PSA and Folk classification) on the samples detailed below (Table 1) in a single lot under an Open Procedure.
