Tender description

The London Borough of Hackney was seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation who could demonstrate their ability to work with the Council, its partners and the local community to deliver a detailed and quality process and outcome evaluation of the sport England funded Hackney local delivery pilot. The delivery of the evaluation will be in phases, and subject to receipt of funding from sport England. The (potential) contract duration is up to 2 years. Evaluation services for the Hackney sport England local delivery pilot is being procured separately from the delivery element with a tender for delivery — community insight, co-design and capacity building was launched in October 2018. In order to ensure transparency and objectivity, the evaluation of the pilot must be delivered by an organisation separate from and unconnected to, the supplier delivering the project. To prevent any conflict of interest, suppliers may bid for only one contract. The Hackney local delivery pilot is one of 12 across the country funded by sport England to develop innovative solutions to break down barriers to physical activity. The evaluation will inform how the Hackney pilot evolves, as well as contributing to the national evaluation, producing evidence to help to understand how we can achieve whole system change for the lasting benefit of local people.
