Tender description

A suitably qualified and experienced contractor(s) may be required for the provision of routine minor civil engineering works, as outlined herein. Works may be to the Housing Executive's housing stock and may also include offices and depots throughout Northern Ireland. Works will be comprised of small value job requests involving, for example, maintenance, repairs and renewals. The expected contract duration may be 2 years with the option to extend for a further period of 2 years or part thereof. This contract may be segmented into regional lots to attract a diverse range of economic operators, such as, but not limited to: — small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), — social economy enterprises (SEEs). Enterprises employing people with disabilities or health related conditions, or disadvantaged people suppliers from other underrepresented or protected groups. Concrete works, external and internal: New renewal of existing and repairs to paths, paving, ramps, steps, channels, foundations, renewal of existing internal and construction of new internal concrete floors, works will include excavation. Tarmac, macadam, flags and kerbing: Laying of new macadam paving and renewal of existing macadam, pot hole repairs, inspection pits laying new and renewal of existing hot rolled asphalt paving. Laying new, renewal of and embedded existing kerbs, flags edgings. Works will include excavation. Excavation and digger work: General excavation and digger oversite works and works to rock, artificial hard surfaces and gardens works will include disposal.
