Tender description

The Defence Forces (DF) commenced a Virtual Desktop Architecture (VDA) Implementation in 2016 with an outcomes based focus for all ICT procurement for the duration of the framework. The Defence Forces network is privately hosted and maintained with a high percentage of the infrastructure virtualised. During the implementation of the VDA, the DF retained infrastructure elements that were fit for purpose. The existing intrusion prevention solution no has a requirement to retire from service. The DF will provide supplementary technical description documents to candidates (maximum of 5) selected to participate in the competitive dialogue process subject to the signing of a confidentiality agreement.
