Tender description

Sections 18 and 19 of the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018 set out a requirement for a stronger final nudge towards pensions guidance at the point when a consumer applies to access or transfer their pension savings, so as to make receiving Pension guidance from the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) the default position. The Act provides a framework with the details of this 'final nudge' left to be worked out. As a result, MaPS is running a project to explore and test different approaches to conducting the final nudge process. The results of this testing will provide an evidence base to assist the FCA and DWP in making rules and regulations. This contract is for a supplier to provide support for this testing and evaluation process.
