Please note: This is a market sounding exercise and not a call for tender Invest NI wish to engage with the market for a potential contract for the provision of an external delivery organisation to deliver a programme of resource matching (industrial symbiosis) activity in Northern Ireland over the period 1.10.2019 to 31.3.2024, with an option to extend for further period of 12 months. Invest NI wish to engage with the market for a potential contract for the provision of an external delivery organisation to deliver a programme of resource matching (industrial symbiosis) activity in Northern Ireland over the period 1.10.2019 to 31.3.2024, with an option to extend for further period of 12 months. The resource matching (industrial symbiosis) service helps businesses identify solutions for discarded resources that are no longer required by a business by finding a partner organisation that can utilise them. Suitable businesses enter discussions to progress the synergy and realise cost savings and additional sales for both partner organisations. This activity will form an important part of Invest NI’s Energy and Resource Efficiency Support Programme which also includes technical consultancy support for business interested in identifying and implementing energy and resource efficient solutions and increasing competiveness through cost reduction for energy, waste, water and raw materials.
