Daventry District Council - Highway Completion Works in Middlemore, Daventry

Daventry District Council has constructed main spine roads and footways within the Middlemore residential estate in Daventry form which housing developers have accessed housing development sites. It is now intended to complete works to sections of these carriageways and footways to a standard that will enable adoption by the Highway Authority. A section of Farnborough Drive adjacent to plots of land that have not yet been developed is excluded from these works. The works comprise various highways works including replacement of damaged kerbs and edgings, removal of temporary kerbing to laybys no longer required, rebuilding areas and failed granite setts, removal of ramped temporary concrete surrounds to manholes, reconfiguring tactile crossing points, regulating to footways and carriageways and new footway and carriageway surfacing. All works to be to current national standards and local standards for adoption. The works will also include the disposal of excavated/waste materials off site. Keywords: highways, kerbs, footpaths
