Construction work for school buildings

Tender description

To undertake the construction of 5 new nursery pavilions at the following locations to provide high quality flexible Nursery accommodation by August 2020: — Eaglesham Primary School family centre, — Busby Primary School family centre, — Crookfur Pavilion family centre, — Overlee Pavilion family centre, — Glenwood family centre. East Renfrewshire Council is therefore looking to appoint a single experienced and suitably qualified Tier 1 contractor to construct five separate new family centres across the authority at the following site locations: — Easglesham Primary School, — Busby Primary School, — Crookfur Pavilion, — Overlee Pavilion, — Glenwood Family Centre. 2 building types have been developed by the design team. Type 1 is the 120 place family centre (to be located on 4 sites). Type 2 the 180 place family centre (to be located on 1 site). In addition the Council wants to augment 2 new family centres with a sports and community extension to enhance facilities further at the Crookfur site and at the Overlee site.
