Tender description

Luton Borough Council’s building technical services division are looking for experienced companies to provide window frames and double glazed units with integral vents. These are replacements in domestic dwellings for houses, bungalows and blocks of flats. All windows shall be from the Matrix 70 infinity (80 % re-cycled) PVCu system as manufactured by VEKA or equivalent profile. Historically in the last financial year the Council ordered approximately 1600 window frames but the Council may order more or less than this number in the future subject to available finance. This procurement is split into three main lots covering the 3 main components required for a PVCu window. Interested parties are required to complete the Standard Selection Questionnaire (SQ), quality questions and the pricing matrix providing responses in relation to their technical capacity or professional ability, and their economic and financial standing. The ITT should be used to submit a tender. The Authority shall evaluate the responses, select only the successful candidates that met the selection criteria across the lots. Tenderers are allowed to submit tenders for one or more lots. Where a tenderer submits more than one lot, the tenderer is required to indicate clearly, which lots they are submitting a bid for.
